Apple’s mid-range and budget iPhone models, starting with the iPhone SE 3, fell significantly below sales expectations. Nevertheless, numerous new details have emerged about the rumored new SE model, which was said to be postponed or not introduced. So, what are our expectations for the iPhone SE 4 model?
The iPhone SE 4 model will be based on the iPhone 14 design!
The previously released iPhone SE models by Apple, especially the iPhone SE 3, were disappointing in terms of sales. Due to these models falling well below expectations, there were many claims circulating that the company might not release or might postpone the iPhone SE 4 model.
Amidst all this, the latest claims suggest that the model will draw power from Apple’s first 5G modem, and thus, it has been delayed until 2025. However, today, some design features of the model have come to light. According to certain sources, the iPhone SE 4 will take inspiration from the iPhone 14 design, compared to its predecessor.
Existing SE models tend to adopt an older design model. From this perspective, the design of the new SE model seems to be exciting for users. Furthermore, it’s said that the iPhone SE 4 will also feature the new Action button that will be present in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
Additionally, the new SE model will include features like Face ID, a single rear camera sensor, and a USB-C port. Alongside these, there’s another innovation in the screen department for the new SE model. According to the claims, the company is evaluating offers from manufacturers for OLED panels to be used in the iPhone SE 4 model.
Alongside all of this, existing SE models usually operate with a chip that is newer than the one used in the model the design is based on. Of course, it’s likely that the company will make various changes by 2025. Also, it’s important to remember that all the information provided so far is speculative.
